This orthodontic office was such a welcoming and comforting place!! The staff were always kind, gentle, and took the time to explain everything before doing anything, which made me feel at ease. I genuinely looked forward to my appointments and was sad when my treatment ended. I also love how my teeth look now. The doctor was incredibly kind and caring, and the entire office made every visit a positive experience.

Today was the day my son got his braces removed, and we couldn’t be happier! Dr. Peter Luu has been incredibly attentive, professional, and kind throughout the whole process. My treatment was more complicated than most cases. I had gone to many different places before First Impression where they would emphasize surgery being the best and only option for me. Dr.Luu literally gave me my smile back with Invisalign. It was a long and complicated process but after 5 years my treatment is finished and I could not be any happier! I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Thank you Dr.Luu and staff for everything.

If you are planning to get your braces done, I HIGHLY recommend you going to First Impressions to get them done. Not only did they provide a free comprehensive consultation, Dr. Luu and his amazing staff (shout out to my girls Shona and Lulu) are extremely knowledgable and incredibly kind. They truly care for you and your smile. They provide you with many options and never pressure you into anything but instead share their recommendations. Additionally, they are quite affordable as affordable braces can be. All in all, I would give First Impressions my highest recommendation for anyone who may be considering getting braces or invisalign done!

Just finished my treatment, and I am beyond satisfied. Dr. Luu is really attentive and detailed, and I am happy that he took my concerns into consideration throughout the treatment. I just finished almost 3 years of braces treatment, I couldn't be happier with the results and my confident smile now! I’ve been at this orthodontist since I was young and everything has been consistently great! The atmosphere at First Impression is very professional and welcoming. All the staff are friendly and seem genuinely passionate about their job. They ask about your day, make sure they’re not hurting you, and get the job done! The receptionist is also very kind and remembers you by name! Dr. Luu and his team were always kind and patient with me through my journey with braces, which wasn’t an easy job since I broke brackets like a thousand times and was probably Dr. Luu’s biggest headache😃. I was always provided information on any treatment, and was in full control of what happened to my teeth. My four-year plan was organized, went smoothly, and the end result was amazing. My teeth look great now, and I couldn’t be happier! P.S I promise to not lose my retainer again…

I definitely recommend Dr. Luu and his team if you want to correct your teeth. I am very satisfied with my smile and teeth and while the process was lengthy, it was worth it in the end. I feel more confident in smiling now thanks to them.
Meet Dr. Peter Luu
Dr. Luu was born in Vietnam and moved to Vancouver when he was 8 years old. Growing up in Vancouver, Dr. Luu attended Simon Fraser University for his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree. Upon leaving Simon Fraser University, he completed his dental degree at the University of British Columbia and continued his education with another year of general practice residency at BC Children’s Hospital.
